How to choose the right size: Martingale Collars - Cotton

Available in 4cm and 5cm widths. The standard size for a Greyhound is M in 4cm width, and the Special Width size is 5cm if you prefer a width.

HOW TO MEASURE YOUR DOG?

Each dog's size varies within the same breed, so it's important to measure your dog to get the right size. If you have any questions once you've taken your measurements, please contact us at info@candypet.es and we'll be happy to help you find the product and size that best suits your dog.

Follow these guidelines to ensure the most accurate measurements possible and determine the correct size for your dog. Measurements should be taken with a flexible tape measure.

Measure him standing up, and preferably while he's still. If he won't stay still, try him while he's eating.

If your measurements are on the limit of a size, we recommend choosing a larger size so your dog is super comfortable.

Martingale Collar

The Martingale collar is a dog collar made up of two parts, a fixed part and a sliding part. The fixed part contains two rings, where the moving part is placed to tie the leash to the collar.

The Martingale collar is the favorite greyhound collar . Ideal for dog breeds with heads as narrow as the neck, such as greyhounds and hounds, although this type of collar has established itself as a valid solution for all types of breeds, especially large breeds.

A complete anti-escape collar . It is almost impossible to escape a properly fitted Martingale collar . By adapting to your dog's neck, if he tries to escape, he will not be able to stick his head out. If the dog pulls on the leash, the moving part of the Martingale collar slides, causing slight pressure on the neck that will draw its attention, without causing any damage by distributing the pressure over the animal's neck. Thanks to this, they are recommended by trainers as a replacement for traditional training collars.

But there are external factors that can cause material deterioration: how much the dog pulls, how active it is and how exposed the product remains to the elements. For this reason, we are not responsible for any deterioration that may result from use, as well as any damage caused by any carelessness or improper use of our products.

How long will it take for my order to arrive?

From the moment you place an order, it may take 1 to 2 business days for it to be processed and delivered to our carriers.
Once delivered, shipments typically take between 3-5 days.
Please note that during busy periods such as the sales season, Christmas, Black Friday, due to force majeure, or logistical issues with the shipping company, there may be delays in deliveries beyond the control of candyPet. We will always try to ensure your package arrives as quickly as possible. *If a size exchange is required for an Outlet item, or a product purchased during the Sale period or as part of a promotional campaign (discount greater than 20%), the customer must cover the shipping costs for said exchange, which will cost €8.

It is essential that the products are in their original packaging and in the same condition as when they were sent. If we receive them with clear signs of use, dirt, or hair, we will not accept a refund or exchange.

How long does it take to process an order?

Shipments will leave our facilities 24/48 business hours after the order is placed.

No shipments are made on Saturdays, Sundays or holidays.

Delivery times depend on the option chosen by the customer, counting from the time it leaves our warehouse.

Who is behind candyPet?

I am Paola, Graduate in Biology , mother of two children and lover of animals and nature. In 2014 I founded candyPet in Seville (Spain).

We currently have a team of 2 other super moms, who help make, prepare and ship orders.

I practically grew up in my grandparents' sewing workshop , where I learned to use sewing machines from a very young age.

My passion for animals prompted me to pursue a Bachelor's degree in Biology , then a master's degree in Neuroscience and Behavioral Biology, and graduate as a Veterinary Assistant .
