Is your dog a top-notch escape artist ?
A full-fledged Houdini ?
Today I'm going to show you several tips for super safe walks:
-
Put a 3-point escape-proof harness on your dog. If your dog is an escape artist, a regular harness won't work, because they'll back down and escape from the harness, unless it has a third handle, on the hip, that prevents them from escaping from the harness.
-
Put a collar on him, so you have two attachments to which to attach the leash (to the harness and to the collar)
- Use a multi-function leash either on your hip or back, because if you carry it in your hand and it gives a tug, the leash can come loose and you're done. Then attach the leash to both the collar and the harness. For this, we recommend our multi-function hands-free leashes and the connectors .
I hope that with these tips, you can walk around in peace with your own Houdini.
Because it's not just greyhounds that are escape artists, anyone can be one .
I got the biggest scare when my mother-in-law's Yorkshire terrier slipped out of its collar and crossed a 4-lane road... luckily the light was red.
This is why we always place great emphasis on safety when walking.
