🐾 Family Hiking Routes with Children and Dogs: Jabugo of Fairy Tales
Many of you have asked me for content about routes to do with children and dogs. Your wish is my command! 😂
This summer, we explored several routes, but one of the most special was the "Jabugo of Fairy Tales" route. We decided to explore the section featuring "The Three Little Pigs," my youngest son's favorite story.
🏞️ What is Jabugo de Cuentos?
It's an initiative where different trails are decorated with little houses inspired by classic fairy tales. Some of the available routes are:
-
The Three Little Pigs : on the Jabugo – Los Romeros route.
-
The Shoemaker and the Goblins : a cork house on the road from Jabugo to Castaño del Robledo.
-
The Forest Gnomes : on the River Trail between Romeros and Repilado.
-
The House of David the Gnome : on the River Path between Romeros and Repilado.
-
The Squirrel House : on the circular path that connects Jabugo – Las Chinas.
-
Pinocchio and Gepetto's Little House : on the Jabugo – Cortegana trail.

👟 Our Experience
The route is marked as family-friendly, as it is ideal for doing with children, although it should be noted that we will encounter a good descent that on the return will be a good climb.
It's a fairly large circular route, but we decided to turn back because it was getting too hot, so we could only do a few kilometers and see the brick house and the wooden one.
But even so, the children were thrilled to see a life-size replica of the little house from one of their favorite stories ❤️
